Hi there,
I am submitting a Freedom of Information request. I am looking to receive information on the following questions broken down annually, back over the last decade, or as far back as possible within this time frame.
How many units of vapes were seized in your local authority?
How many units of cigarette packs were seized in your local authority?
How many units of hand-rolled tobacco products were seized in your local authority?
Could this data be presented annually for each of the below time periods?
These are as follows:
1st January 2023 > 31st Feb 2023
1st January 2022 > 31st Dec 2022
1st January 2021 > 31st Dec 2021
1st January 2020 > 31st Dec 2020
1st January 2019 > 31st Dec 2019
1st January 2018 > 31st Dec 2018
1st January 2017 > 31st Dec 2017
1st January 2016 > 31st Dec 2016
1st January 2015 > 31st Dec 2015
1st January 2014 > 31st Dec 2014
1st January 2013 > 31st Dec 2013

There have been no seizures of vapes for 1^st January – 28^th February
2023.
Information regarding seizure of vaping products has previously been
released under FOI-471444586 for 2018, and under FOI-449988031 for
2019-2022. You can view the responses to these requests on our disclosure
log at the link below, by searching the keywords “471444586” and
“449988031”.

As seizure of vaping products for 2018 - 2022 is otherwise accessible on
our website through our disclosure log, it is exempt from disclosure. In
order to comply with its obligations under the terms of Section 16 of the
FOISA, we are informing you that we are refusing your request under the
terms of Section 25(1) - Information Otherwise Accessible - of the FOISA.
We hold no records for vape seizures prior to 2018.
We are unable to provide you with information on vape product seizures
prior to 2018. In order to comply with its obligations under the terms of
Section 17 of the FOISA, we are informing you that we do not hold this
information.
How many units of cigarette packs were seized in your local authority?
There have been no seizures of cigarette packs for 1^st January – 28^th
February 2023.
Information regarding seizure of cigarette packs has previously been
released under FOI-471444586 for 2018-2022. You can view the responses to
