Dear Mr Wall,

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: 810004241

Thank you for your request for information received on 9 August.

Your questions and our responses are as follows:

1) Total number of FOI requests received 2009/2010/2011 to date (broken
down by month).

Please see the excel documents attached.

2) the % of responses where the information has been provided in full,
part or withheld (annual totals)

This information is published in our FOI Annual Reports - please see our
website for these.

3) Total number of internal reviews requested 2009/10/11 to date (broken
down by month).

We do not record this by month. The yearly figures are included in our
annual reports and are available on line when published.

We undertook 35 in financial year 2010/11.

4) Total number of appeals to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
for 2009/2010/2011 (broken down by year)

We do not know how many appeals are made to the ICO, you would need to ask
the ICO this. We do include some information about enquiries we have
received from the ICO in our annual reports.

5) Total number of cases appealed to the Information Tribunal (IT) for
2009/2010/2011 (broken down by year)

Similarly we do not know how many cases are appealed to the IT - you would
need to ask the IT. We have been involved with one case which was appealed
to the IT in 2011.

6) Total number of cases appealed to High Court or above (broken down by
which Court)

We are not aware of any involving Haringey Council.

7) Number of employees in your central FOI/compliance team, and team
structure chart.

Our central team has recently undergone a restructure, and will be called
the Feedback and Information Governance Team.  I attach the structure
chart which comes into effect in September 2011.

8) Are any FOI reps engaged across your organisation to assist in
formulating responses or providing information?

Any member of staff may be involved with answering a request.

9) Are any of your compliance functions outsourced to a third party? If
so, which ones?

We presume you mean compliance with the Freedom of Information Act,
Environmental Information Regulations and the Data Protection Act.  In
which case the answer is no.

10) Total cost to the authority each year dealing with compliance work,
both internal and including any work outsourced (please could you provide
a specific breakdown of costs)

We do not record this.

11) Total budget allocated to training, conferences and external legal
advice.

The Feedback & Information Team has an uncommitted £2,600 budget for
Training & Conferences in the 2011/12 financial year. There is no spend
to-date. There is no budget or spend for external legal fees/costs.

12) Total amount spent for 2009/2010/2011 for training, conferences and
external legal advice (please provide a specific breakdown of costs)

In the Financial Year 2009/10 the Feedback & Information Team spent
£665 on Freedom of Information, Data Protection Act and British
Standards training. There was no spend on external legal fees/costs or
conferences.

In the Financial Year 2010/11 Feedback & Information Team spent £423 on
CCTV Data Protection training and a Freedom of Information Forum. There
was no spend on external legal fees/costs or conferences.

12) Salaries of each member of the team. (If you think this information
could identify specific individuals, please could you provide the salaries
