November 2022 asking for information about the cost for TfL to process a
Freedom of Information request.

contracts, expenditure, journey data, governance and our financial

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29
November 2022 asking for information about the cost for TfL to process a
Freedom of Information request.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do not hold the information you have requested. By
their very nature, FOI requests are extremely varied and the expertise and
resource required to answer them will differ on a case by case basis.
However, the legislation sets out that a public authority such as TfL is
not required to respond to FOI requests that exceed 18 hours' work, priced
at £25 per hour. Therefore all FOI requests we process will be within this
range. Both the volume of FOI requests received by TfL and our performance
in meeting the statutory deadline can be found at the following link:
