A week's conference in Bermuda...but no expenses?

Perhaps she saved the taxpayer money by staying with relatives and rigorous dieting?

Rob Bird left an annotation ()

indeed god bless her if so? Some reason I doubt that I am afraid :(

Philip Taylor left an annotation ()

Those are just expenses claimed. No information about whether a govt credit or procurement card was used.

You've asked for further information Rob.. Let's hope some explanation is forthcoming.

NB the PHSO has been withholding handwritten notes (illegally as the FoI Act covers them).

You may like to remind the PHSO of this fact if there are any strange gaps in the returned information from your requests ...(as that's how I got them).

Dear Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman,

This has not been answered fully see annotations etc

Dear Mr Bird

Thank you for your email of 10 October 2013.

You have asked further questions about Ann Abraham’s trip to the Caribbean
Ombudsman Association Conference in 2008. You have asked:

‘who paid....

Who invited her on the trip?

How many days was the conference?

And ALL other information on file about her involvement in this Caribbean
event.’

Ann Abraham was invited to address a conference of the Caribbean Ombudsman
Association by Arlene Brock, National Ombudsman for Bermuda.

As a speaker, all of Ms Abraham’s hotel and subsistence needs were met by
the conference organisers. As you will have seen from the flight details
previously provided to you, Ms Abraham stayed only for the duration of the
conference. She was engaged in meetings throughout her stay.

We do not hold any information about the conference itself but the
conference programme is available online here:
