FOI request: Permanent teaching posts
Dear Orkney Islands Council,
Please send me information about the employment of teachers
Please send me the council's figures for the last five years for the following:
1) How many Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) have been employed in primary schools and secondary schools in your region?
2) How many Recently Qualified Teachers (RQTs) have been employed in primary and secondary schools in your region?
3) How many permanent teacher posts have been advertised for primary and secondary schools in your region?
4) How many permanent teacher posts have been filed in primary and secondary schools in your region?
I am also looking for a break down in year and between primary and secondary school as well as how many posts at each school in your local authority.
Please can the results be shared as a spreadsheet rather than a pdf?
Please do send me an acknowledgment of this freedom of information request, and I look forward to receiving the information within 20 working days.
Yours faithfully,
Jennifer Jones
