FOI Request: Number of Vacant properties and number of people on you current council waiting list
Dear FOI Officer,
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible.
1.A - How many vacant council homes, including void properties do you currently have to date? (6th March 2024).
1.B - How many of these properties have been vacant for longer than 3 months?
1.C - How many of these properties have been vacant for longer than 6 months?
1.D - How many of these properties have been vacant for longer than 1 year?
2.A How many people do you currently have to date on your current council housing waiting list? (6th March 2024)
2.B How many families have you relocated outside of london that declared themselves homeless to you in the last year
2.C How many people that declared themselves homeless to your council in the last year, but were not deemed a priority need and therefore were not accepted onto your council housing waiting list?
I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as outlined by the statute.

the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of
any exemptions. Where consideration is being given to exemptions the 20
working day timescale may be extended to a period considered reasonable
depending on the nature and circumstances of your request. In such cases
you will be notified and, where possible, a revised time-scale will be
indicated. In all cases we shall attempt to deal with your request at the
earliest opportunity.
If we are unable to provide you with the information requested we will
notify you of this together with the reason(s) why, and details of how you
may appeal.
Please note that the directorate team may contact you for further
information where we believe that the request is not significantly clear
for us to respond fully.

I am writing to request an internal review of Croydon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'FOI Request: Number of Vacant properties and number of people on you current council waiting list'.
Can I get an update as to when I can expect an answer it has been much longer than expected and I haven't received a response to my internal review. Please note I'll be contacting the Information Commissioner shortly.
