This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This request
relates to the training offered to staff on modern slavery. Please share
the details of training on modern slavery delivered to staff, including:

GYBC provides eLearning to staff on a range of safeguarding topics, the
exact training modules allocated will be dependent on job role, either it
will be an introductory overview module – Understanding Safeguarding of
Children, Young People and Adults at Risk, or a suite of 9 safeguarding
modules (County Lines, Domestic Abuse Awareness, FGM, Hate and Mate Crime,
Honour-Based Violence and Forced marriage, Prevent, Radicalisation,
Safeguarding Adults and Safeguarding and Child Protection)

 

There is reference to Modern Slavery in the following modules –

• County Lines
• Understanding the safeguarding of Children, Young People and Adults at
Risk
• Safeguarding Adults

 

All the modules have been reviewed and please see the attached screen
shots of where in the modules it references the topic.
