I am writing in relation to tender reference PS/2017/514 titled 'Occupational Therapy and Independent Mobility Assessment Service'. Please provide the following information in email format:

1: How many organisations were invited to tender?
2: How many bidders submitted responses?
3: Name of all bidders who submitted responses.
4: Rank of all bidders who submitted responses.
5: Where did The OT Practice rank in the scoring process?
6: Advantages of the successful bidder compared to other tenderer.
7: Final pricing of successful bidder.
8: Copy of successful tender.
9: Expiry date of the awarded contract.
10: Approximate date that the tender will be reissued towards the end of the current contract period.

Thank you for your recent communication which is being managed in line
with the Freedom of Information Act under the above reference number.  The
details of your request are outlined below together with the council’s
response.

Your request

I am writing in relation to tender reference PS/2017/514 titled
'Occupational Therapy and Independent Mobility Assessment Service'. Please
provide the following information in email format:

Our Response

1. The contract was advertised under the Open procedure so was open to any
interested parties.

6. The winning provider generally provided more detail and ensured they
were answering the question posed for each criterion.

7. The whole life value is £496,800. A breakdown cannot be provided as it
is considered commercially sensitive information.

8. This is considered to be commercially sensitive information.

9. Initial end date is 30/09/2020, with the option to extend for a further
two years in one year increments.

10. It will either be procured early in 2020, 2021 or 2022, depending on
whether the extension options are taken up.

 

In issuing our response to Questions 3, 4 & 5, the council have applied
S43 of the Freedom of Information Act.

Information is exempt information if its disclosure under this Act would,
or would be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of any person
(including the public authority holding it). A commercial interest relates
to a person or organisation’s ability to successfully participate in a
commercial activity, i.e. the purchase and the sale of goods or services.
Providing this information would place bidders of the services at a
commercial disadvantage. A publication under FOI constitutes a disclosure
to the world at large. Third parties would be likely to gain commercial
advantage in the competitive market.
