FOI Request for complaints
Dear Northamptonshire County Council,
I'd like to request the following:
* Count of complaints made against NCC (broken down by month, for the last 3 years)
* Count of how many of these complaints are against children social services staff
* Count of data breaches that were caused by members of staff of NCC (broken down by month, for the last 3 years)
* Please then provide a count of how many data breaches were caused by staff within children social services.
Please also include the outcomes of these complaints and data breaches

Dear C Bandey,
Our service area have asked for clarification from you to enable them to
progress their response to FR10036, please see below:
In your final question you ask for the following: “Please also include the
outcomes of these complaints and data breaches [within Children’s
Services].”
We do not record “outcomes” of data breaches as such. In accordance with
GDPR, instead we record “a description of the measures taken, or proposed
to be taken, to deal with the personal data breach, including, where
appropriate, the measures taken to mitigate any possible adverse effects.”
Please can you confirm whether or not you would like this information
instead.
Your request will be suspended in the meantime and so I look forward to
hearing from you.
