FOI request for all communication, including all correspondence and meeting agendas, minutes etc concerning the application and approval of a 5G mast on Rosendale road

We're waiting for Jessica Watkin to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,
Please provide all documentation, including all correspondence (including any and all emails) and meeting minutes discussing and regarding the application and approval about erecting a 5G mast on Rosendale road, in the immediate vicinity of rosendale primary school. In particular (but not limited to):
What consideration, if any, the overwhelming objections of residents was given to and whether (or not) they factored in the councils decision (147 out of 149 submissions were negative). If they were given no weight, why not?
Why this location was approved when the Elder road site was not. What was different about Rosendale road? Did the decision makers have any personal connections or other conflicts of interest which influenced (or could be perceived as influencing) the decision?
What consultation principles did the council follow, if any? Which were omitted and why?

Please provide all documents, including all correspondence, including emails, and all records of all relevant meetings, including (but not limited to) minutes and other related documentation.

Yours faithfully,
Jessica Watkin

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Lambeth Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'FOI request for all communication, including all correspondence and meeting agendas, minutes etc concerning the application and approval of a 5G mast on Rosendale road'.

You’ve clearly only provided a fraction of the communications. I have been sent very little. For example, where are the communications from Helen Hayes? and many more besides.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...

Yours faithfully,

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Lambeth Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'FOI request for all communication, including all correspondence and meeting agendas, minutes etc concerning the application and approval of a 5G mast on Rosendale road'.

Linked to this, I would like to request information on why the fact that the Rosendale Peabody estate is a conservation area was not a factor in deliberations. Is this because the officer failed to recognise this. It was stated in your response that the Elder road application was rejected due to proximity to a conservation area which is precisely the same with this application. Rosendale road Peabody estate is a conservation area. Given this error by the officer, please provide details of grounds for overturning this planning decision.

It also lacks a salient consideration: I.e. an evidence base for the local public interest in increasing connectivity. My experience is that it is excellent and there is no need. Only 2 applications wanted improvement. 147 didn’t feel any need for ‘improvement’. So there is no public interest case for a mast. A proper consultation with a much wider breadth of residents (not a small number of houses, immediately in front of the proposed mast) but one dedicated to positively determine if there is any need or desire for this mast locally is needed. My internet is excellent and I never have any issues. Without positively collecting this evidence base there can be no grounds whatsoever to say the application is meeting the needs of local residents. It’s only meeting the financial needs of these telecoms companies.

In other words, what is the hard data to support that the local residents interests are served by a mast? Please provide all documentation. If there is none, please say so and why it’s absent from deliberations.

If this evidence is absent, there is no public interest case in support of this or any other 5g mast in the area. And they all need to be withdrawn.
