Dear Scottish Commission for Human Rights,

Thank you for your response, however i must ask that you check again, and reconfirm.

For example:
Judith Bueno de Mesquita, lecturer at the University of Essex, and signatory to the Yogyakarta (2006) as Judith Mesquita, linkedin feb. 2020, states "i have acted in an advisory role for projects of many organisations including the Scottish Human Rights Commission".

Is there another 'Scottish Human Rights commision' ?
Please explain.

Also, Victor Madrigal-Borloz has been the UN Independent Expert on SOGI since late 2017, and it seems very unlikely that there has never been contact with SCHR, especially given the ongoing Gender identity focus and Gender Recognition Act reform proposals etc by the Scottish government.

I am very surprised that these SOGIESC Human Rights advocates have had no contact or interactions whatsoever with the Scottish Human Rights body.

I ask you to check again using variations of the names I have provided.
Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Cooke

see above for continuation, for some reason they made it a separate request. Their initial response was incorrect (I knew Mesquite had worked for them), how much influence she had there or in other institutions - unknown. She was signatory to the Yogyakarta Principles but actually only the PA to another signatory just after undergrad degree so no "expert". Borloz is focussed on Conversion Therapy laws being implemented in all countries regardless of there being any evidence base and is in support of 'affirmation of gender identities' therapy being seen as attempted 'conversion' (SOGIESC). As the two strands cannot be disentangled currently it must be a strict no to 'conversion therapy' laws for the UK.
