Dear Nottingham City Council,

I note with concern from your response to another FOI request (http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/fa... that 42% of all Freedom of Information requests submitted to Nottingham City Council have not been in compliance with the law in responding, at the latest, in 20 working days of concern.

I would therefore like Nottingham City Council to provide out:

1. Any internal correspondence it has setting out why the Council has not been meeting its statutory obligations
2. Whether the poor performance has been brought to the attention of the Chief Executive?
3. What actions Nottingham City Council have taken, and also plan to take, to address this poor performance.
4. Any definite targets set for when performance will improve and what is considered an acceptable level of performance.

Yours faithfully,

Stephen Peach

Hey Stephen,
I notice that you are ready to criticise Nottingham City Council for their FOI requests. I am not sure if you are aware but they are flouting the Freedom of Information Act in other areas too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-not...
This is their given reason: http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/index.a...

Just thought that this would help you further...

Regards,
Kayley

Clearly being obstructive in terms of not releasing any internal stuff which might have been a little more informative with regard to delays etc. That being any stuff from the likes of Joco and Baker etc - which they deny having any of anyway.

If they had admitted to holding any such information on what grounds could they have exempted it?
