Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your request for information dated 17 November 2022 (received by the Council that same date). Unfortunately, I am unable to accept this in the current form as a valid request as it does not contain your/your company’s name in the body of your email. The Scottish Information Commissioner has clarified that a request for information is not valid without a full name having been given other than in the email headers.

I am sorry if this appears to be overly bureaucratic to you but should you subsequently wish to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner in this matter it would be essential that your request for information complies with the requirements stipulated by the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any queries, please email [Angus Council request email].

Kind regards

Ali
