Information has been provided by our Director of IT and Systems
Development, as follows:

 

1.         Total agency spend for end of financial year 2016 across IT
services:

Figure equates to £29,897.78.

2.         The names of the recruitment agencies used:

Cordant Recruitment and Select Appointments

3.         Total spend on agency contract/temporary staff within IT
services:

Figure equates to £38,331.78

4.         Total spend on permanent fees within IT services:

We are unsure what you mean by ‘permanent fees’.  In order to be able to
respond, we require clarification of what information you are requesting. 
As soon as we receive clarification from you, we will be able to complete
the processing of your request.  Until then, this part of your request
will remain suspended.  If we do not receive the requested clarification
from you within three months, your request will be deemed to have lapsed.

On 26 June 2017, I wrote regarding your Freedom of Information request
relating to our spend on staff recruitment agencies across IT Services in
2015/2016.  Whilst we were able to provide information in response to
Questions  1-3, I asked you for clarification regarding Question 4 (see
copy of my email attached below).  I also informed you that the remaining
part of your request would be suspended until we received the required
clarification from you.  As three months have passed without hearing
anything from you, I am now writing to inform you that we consider this
part of your request to have lapsed.  If you require information in the
future, you will need to submit a new request.
