I would like to request information regarding recruitment agency spend across IT services at the University.
Can you please confirm the following:
1. Total agency spend for end of financial year 2016 across IT services
2. The names of the recruitment agencies used
3. Total spend on agency contract/temporary staff within IT services
4. Total spend on permanent fees within IT services

"Permanent fees" relates to the fees spent by IT Services on recruitment of permanent staff. It is the fees paid to agencies for the placement of permanent staff.

I refer to your Freedom of Information request regarding recruitment agency spend across IT services. The responses to your questions are below:

Total spend in financial year 2016/17 £26k
2. The names of the recruitment agencies used
Spring, Parity Professionals and Harvey Nash (as per the APUC framework)
3. Total spend on agency contract/temporary staff within IT services

You have a right under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FoISA) to request a review of this decision by the University of Stirling. If you wish to exercise this right, you must write to the University to request a review within forty working days of receipt of this decision. Your request for a review must be in writing and you must specify your name and address for correspondence. You must also identify the decision that you wish reviewed.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a review, you have a right under the FoISA to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner. If you wish to do so, you must appeal to the Commissioner within six months following the date of receipt of the review notice. You also have the right to appeal to the Court of Session on a point of law following a decision of the Commissioner.
