FOI: Legal fees during the Westminster Terror Attack inquests

Dear London Fire Commissioner (London Fire Brigade),

I am writing to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would like the London Fire Commissioner to provide any information held relating to the expenditure on legal fees in respect of the Inquests arising from the deaths in the Westminster Terror Attack of 22 March 2017.

For the avoidance of doubt this request includes information held in respect of:
• The total amount spent on counsel fees during the inquest
• The total amount spent on solicitors fees during the inquest

Dear Amber,

Thank you for your request, dated 15 January 2019 regarding the inquest in to the Westminster terror attack in March 2017, specifically with regards to London Fire Brigade (LFB) expenditure on legal fees.

In response I can confirm that the total spend on Counsel was £48,985 whilst the in house LFB legal time equates to £41,864.50.
