Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000, which was received by East Hampshire District
Council on 14^th May 2021.  You requested the following: -

Please provide a copy of the information that the council was required to
submit under The Non-Domestic Rating (Compilation and Alteration of Lists)
(England) Regulations 2020 by 15th January 2021

We are unable to provide you with a copy of the actual list sent to the
Valuation Office Agency (VOA), the council is seeking to rely on section
44 of the Freedom of Information Act.

Section 44(1)(a) exempts information where its disclosure is prohibited by
other legislation.

Section 18 of the [1]Commissioners for Revenue and Customs Act 2005
prohibits disclosure of tax information that would allow persons to be
identified.

However the council does publish all business rates data sets on a
quarterly basis and this information can be found at
