FOI- A-Level provision
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my enquiry as specifically as possible. If however this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you would contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. Please send via email in Excel or similar format within 20 working days.

1. Do you offer at least one foreign language A-Level course for 16-19-year-olds?
- 1.2 Which foreign languages are taught?
- 1.3. How many students aged 16-19 currently take each foreign language course (breakdown by language if multiple)?
- 1.4. How many students aged 16-19 currently take any foreign language course in total?
2. If you do not currently offer a foreign language A-Level, did you previously? If so, what year was that stopped?
3. Are you a selective school? If so, on what basis?
In your response please also include the following details:
- Address
- Local authority
- Total pupils taking A-Levels
- Type of FE institution (e.g. college, sixth form, grammer etc)

Dear Jessica,
Thank you for your email. I can see that you have sent multiple requests asking for information on Ark Globe, Ark John Keats and Ark Isaac Newton - are these the only schools that you are requesting for?
We will respond to your request within the time limit but please note that due to half term at Globe/John Keats this week, the schools re-open on Monday and Isaac Newton closes for its half term on Monday so to account for the school closures, the publication date would in the week of 18th March and towards the end of that week for Isaac Newton academy.

Hi Meg,
It would be helpful to get information on all schools which offer A-Levels. Please break down per school. Apologies, I didn't know you organised FOIs as a group rather than via separate schools.
