Technically this information is refused under section 21 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA 2000), because of the fact that it is already
in the public domain and therefore "accessible to the requester by other
means" for the purpose of the Act.

 

Also, please note that this relates only to those MHRA "family" staff
(including the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control
-NIBSC- and the Clinical Practice Research Datalink -CPRD) who are of
Senior Civil Service grade. For staff below that grade, it is not normally
considered that their information would be processed "fairly and lawfully"
under the Data Protection Act 1984 (as amended 1998) if their details were
to be revealed. Therefore this information is withheld under section 40 of
the FOIA 2000.
