Dear Bishop Grosseteste University College,

I would like you to detail in full a list of the top 50 main subcontractors that you use that provide any forms of facilities management, contract cleaning , contracted maintenance works , plumbing, electrical, roofing, work , gardening, landscaping, pest control, furniture, technology. Also please detail all the main suppliers you use or service providers as well as any major contractors used for any cleaning supplies or technologies such as computers, desks, regeneration or building works you have have had or have currently underway. Please also detail the security company you use along with any details of any other companies you have current frame work agreements with or contracts.. many thanks

In compiling our response to your freedom of information request (see the
bottom of this email) we find that in order to proceed further we require
some clarification please.

 

Could you define what you mean by each of the following, with specific
reference to how they differ from each other:

 

·         Contractor

·         Subcontractor

·         Supplier

·         Provider

 

We also require clarification of what you mean by the terms ‘main’, as in
‘main subcontractor’, and ‘top’, as in ‘top 50’. For example, by ‘top 50’
do you mean a top 50 ranked by the amount we have spent with each provider
in the current or previous financial year?

Your request will be suspended until we receive clarification from you on
the above matters.  If we do not receive clarification within three
months, your request will be deemed to have lapsed.
