Dear Upwell Internal Drainage Board,
Drain at the back of 16, Townley Close, Upwell, And other residents along this drain are concerned about the level of water now penetrating into our back gardens, We believe there is a blockage at some point, If possible for someone could come and survey the the situation as soon as possible, Many thanks

Yours faithfully,

Katie Hunt, Upwell Internal Drainage Board

Dear Mr Doughty

Freedom of Information Request
Drain to the rear of Townley Close Upwell

Thank you for your email requesting information about flooding issues at the above location .

Churchfield and Plawfield Internal Drainage Board and Middle Level Commissioners as their Consultants are aware of this issue and are trying to find a solution to this problem. The Drain is not an Internal Drainage Board Drain and we are therefore working with other agencies - Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council , Norfolk County Council as Lead Flood Authority for the area and the Housing Association to find a resolution to this problem. A meeting has been arranged between Officers of the various agencies on the 12th February to hopefully find a resolution for local residents .

Regards
