Dear Mr Briggs

We refer to your request for information in respect of funding for
flooding from Welsh Government.

We can confirm that the Local Authority has not received any funding from
the Welsh Government to specifically address river and sea flooding in
Rhondda. This is because the Authority is NOT the Risk Management
Authority for Main Rivers in the Rhondda, this is Natural Resources Wales
and there is no sea flooding risk in the Rhondda.
