Under Freedom of Information Act/Environmental Information Regulations, I would like to request the following information.
For the area for which you are the Lead Local Flood Management Authority under the Flood and Water Management Act (2010) --
- Total number of people living at risk of flooding (any level of risk)
- Total number of people exposed to frequent flooding (1:75 years or above)
- Total number living in EA-designated flood zone 3

Thank you for your request for information, which was received by
Manchester City Council on 26th June 2024. The Council has considered the
information requested and is satisfied that it falls within the broad
definition of "environmental information” in the Environmental Information
Regulations 2004 (EIR). Your request for information has therefore been
considered under the provisions of the EIR.

This information is not held by the Council. The Environment Agency are
the Risk Management Authority for main river flooding (including Flood
Zone 3).
