Dear Sir,
Further to your recent request to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service
(NWFRS) made under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act for a copy
of the Service’s Fleet List, please see the attached spreadsheet.
Please note that NWFRS does not hold the ‘Date Registered’ information for
the Contract Hire vehicles, as the V5 forms are held by the lease car
supplier. Please also note that the Service does not record the body type
of its vehicles; however, the letters at the beginning of the Fleet ID
give an indication of the type of vehicle, and a key to those letters has
been provided in the spreadsheet.
Finally, NWFRS confirms that it holds the Registration Number information
for the unmarked Contract Hire vehicles; however, these vehicles are used
by officers for personal family business as well as work duties and,
therefore, the Registration Numbers constitute the personal information of
the officers and are exempt from publication under Section 40(2) of the
Freedom of Information Act, in that to release them would be unfair to
those officers.
If you are dissatisfied with the way your request for information has been
handled, you can request a review by writing to:
