Dear Mr Jarman
Thank you for your information request which we shall process under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Before I allocate it to the relevant team(s), can you please confirm
whether you are only referring to cars/vans or whether you would like us
to include our bin lorries in the response?
We should be most grateful if you could send the clarification at your
convenience. We shall then provide you with a response to your FOI request
as soon as possible and no later than 20 working days from the date we
receive the necessary clarification.
Many thanks and best wishes

Dear Records,
My FOI request is now overdue. I should like the information as soon as possible
Yours sincerely,
Peter Jarman
Dear Mr Jarman
Thank you for your email. According to our records, we never received a response from you with regard to our request for clarification.
Please see our acknowledgement email below which explains that the 20 working days starts from the receipt of clarification, not your original request.
When a request requires clarification, we are not able to process it until that clarification is received.
Having said that, we did ask the Estates & Facilities team to provide information whilst we waited for your clarification as to whether you also wanted to include recycling and waste vehicles. They promptly provided us (the Freedom of Information team) with the information but it was never sent to you. This is because FOI requests are effectively put on hold until clarification is received. If no clarification is received within a calendar month, we close down the request and notify the customer. The customer is then obviously welcome to re-submit their request at any time, along with the necessary clarification.
In a separate email, we shall send you the data received so far. We shall await your clarification on the matter of the refuse vehicles. If we do not hear back from you by the end of next week, we shall consider this request closed.
Kind regards
Francisca Harpur

Dear Records,
Thank you for your reply - somehow I missed your point about needing clarification.
I will process a new request but I will leave it until nearer the end of next year as I have heard that all the council operators (except Milton Keynes) are to be merged with Buckinghamshire C C possibly from April 2020.
So I will delay my request as it will act as a final fleet list for Aylesbury Vale
Yours sincerely,
Peter Jarman
