Freedom of Information request - Flats in Oldham without a fire door

 

I acknowledge receipt of your request for information regarding the number
of flats on Henshaw Street, Oldham that do not have a fire door meeting
current fire safety regulations.

 

FCHO transferred from the ownership of Oldham Council in February 2011.
FCHO is a Co-operative and Community Benefit Society and is registered
with the Financial Conduct Authority as a Mutual Society. FCHO is a ‘not
for profit’ housing association and is an exempt Charity regulated and
accountable to the Regulator of Social Housing.

 

Your request for information is made under The Freedom of Information Act
2000 which provides public access to information held by public
authorities as defined in section 3 of the Act. Unfortunately, however,
FCHO is not classed as a public body under the said Act and it is
therefore not legally obliged to provide any information to you.

 

Notwithstanding the above, if you are a customer of FCHO and have any
concerns about your front door then please speak to your Neighbourhood
Officer.
