Under Freedom of Information, I would be grateful if you could provide the
following information:

How many insurance liability claims have you received in the last three
calendar years (2020, 2021, 2022) related to surface water flooding (i.e.
flash flooding)?

For each year, please provide the number of claims received and the number
paid out, including the total cost to the council and insurer.

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

There has been no claims recorded in years 2020, 2021, 2022 related to
surface water flooding.
