FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST – FOI 2210051075 

Dear Susan Russell,  

Your request for information, with reference number FOI 2210051075 has now
been considered and the information requested is given below.  

Request and Response 

Please provide statistics for fixed penalty notices issued by the
prevention and enforcement team for each type of offence specified in the
PSPO.  

Please provide this in a table on a monthly basis for the past 3 years
ending August 2022.

Also note 

We do not have a monthly breakdown of FPNs issued prior to March 2020.
Prior to January 2020 enforcement was undertaken by Kingdom Security
Services and we no longer have access to what they issued each month.   

During January and February 2020 no enforcement took place as a new
in-house team was being recruited. There was no active enforcement during
April, May and June 2020 due to the first national lockdown for COVID-19 -
during this time enforcement staff were redeployed to other service areas,
supporting the council’s response to the pandemic.   

Similar activity was undertaken in further national lockdown periods later
in November 2020 and January 2021.
