Fixed Penalty Notice - Driving On A Hand Held Mobile Device

The request was successful.

Dear Derbyshire Constabulary,

I am writing to you in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act to request information on fixed penalty notices for drivers caught using a hand held mobile device.

If possible, I would like information on penalties issued during 2014 for any driver caught whilst on a phone. This should be for CARS only, not including HGVs, motorcycles, pedal bikes etc. AKA 'CATEGORY B' licence holders.

I would prefer this information in excel format and to include; each area in your jurisdiction along with total of penalties broken down by month.

Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation – I look forward to a prompt response.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Reid

Dear Freedom of Information Office,

Would it possible to amend my request to just get the 1020 tickets issued for the specified offence broken down by calendar month for 2014?

This should alleviate so of the staff hours associated with this request.

Yours sincerely,

Chris Reid
