Interim order hearings are usually heard in public unless there is an
application for the hearing to be heard in private, as was the case with
these hearings. We are therefore unable to release any further details for
these hearings. This information is withheld under Section 40(2) of the
FOIA as it constitutes the personal data of Mr Standen. Further
information on this exemption is provided below.

 

Section 40

 

The exemption in Section 40(2) of the FOIA applies to personal data which
relates to a third party. Disclosure of this information would breach the
principles of data protection set out in Article 5(1) of the UK General
Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), in particular principle (a) that
personal data should be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent
manner and principle (b) that personal data should be collected for
specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a
manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
