Fitness to Practice Concern Reports Closed at Triage

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, General Medical Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear General Medical Council,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”) to request the following information:

How many fitness to practice concern reports have been denied an investigation by your triage team over the past year where the allegations, if proven, would amount to an impairment of fitness to practise and the concern reports were brought in time i.e. within GMC's '5 year rule'.

I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as stipulated by the Act.

Regards

Jason Batchelor
