I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information Request dated 29th January 2020.

Please find the information for the 3 questions below responded to.

Q1 - The number of cases Trafford Local Education Authority has defended in the First-tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability) in 2019 - 4 / 2018 - 22 / 2017 -8
Q2 - The number of cases at the Tribunal which Trafford Local Education Authority won, for each of those years - 2017 - 3 / 2018 - 2 / 2019 - 0 (upheld council position)
Q3 - The amount of money spent by Trafford Local Education Authority on legal costs for defending cases at the Tribunal, for each of those years - £15,000 per year from the Education Budget contributes towards legal costs of Tribunals.
