First London Duties

Max West made this Freedom of Information request to Transport for London

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Transport for London did not have the information requested.

Dear Transport for London,

Please could you possibly try to send me the old duties (duty cards, rotas etc) of First London (which went bust in 2013) as I am interested to see the difference in London duties from Outer London duties.

Yours faithfully,

Max West

Firs London did not "go bust". They sold their London operations to other groups, which is quite different.
Individual duty cards would have been the property of First London, not TfL. However, duties are shown on working timetables where these have been made available by TfL, but it would require a good deal of effort on your part to extract them.

M Clary,
Thank you for your annotation, should I contact First as well to ask for information?

Max - As First is a private company it is not within the scope of FOI. The London subsidiary no longer exists. Even if it did there would surely be no business reason for them to have kept that sort of working information from 2013. And even if they did that I doubt they would be prepared to devote time and cost to providing them. So I rather doubt that it is worth bothering asking First. As I say, if your interest is important enough to you, you can get some information out of the working timetables released by TfL (and they have said they intend to make older material available via a third party website at some stage).
