Thank you for your request for information that was received on 2 January
2024.
 
Request summary
 
Please can you quantify the total amount of GBP spent on the New Year's
Eve Firework display that commenced at 00:00:01 on Monday 1 January 2024.

Please include the costs for fireworks, electricity, any practices that
took place, setting up, labour, road closures, security, policing (where
the council stood these costs or contributed), staffing costs associated
with the display, and all and any other associated costs, to be itemised,
please.

Please also supply the same cost breakdowns for years:
2016/17
2017/18
2018/19
2019/20
2020/21
2021/22
2022/23

For clarity, the years above apply to the displays that were planned in
the first listed year but which commenced seconds into to the second
listed year.
 
We are dealing with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
