Dear Southwark Borough Council,
I ask these questions based on the MHCLG advice notes and make the assumption that Southwark Council as the Responsible Person has complied in full with the recommendations of national government as given in these notes and will have this information readily available. This, I believe will require little or no collation and can easily be supplied within the timescales allowed for in an FOI request
1. How many high rise buildings (18 metres and over) in the borough of Southwark managed by Southwark Council are fitted with spandrel panels?
2. How many high rise buildings (18 metres and over) in the borough of Southwark managed by Southwark Council and as part of the external wall construction have: HPL, timber, non ACM cladding, External Wall Insulation systems or any other material that make up that wall which is not 100% ‘brick or block’ finish?
3. With regards any buildings listed in questions 1 and 2, what assessment/tests been carried out to confirm construction make up and combustibility where Euro-class A1/A2 could not be initially confirmed?
4. On those buildings with spandrel panels how many of them have a surround (which may be part of the window set) which do not comply with the current requirement of Euro-class A1 or A2?
