Dear Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service,

Please supply all details with regards to Fox Street Village
"Poorly finished" new block of flats might have to be evacuated over fire safety fears
Developer vows to work with the council to fix problems found in investigations following Grenfell Tower tragedy

By Alistair Houghton, Executive Business Editor 4th April 2019

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Authority (MFRA) said: “MFRA has been working with Liverpool City Council (LCC)

[1] Please can your Fire & Safty officers supply all the details on Fox Street Village and what information was passed to the LCC on this building?

[2] Please supply any details passed on to the Liverpool Echo with regards to the report published on April 4th 2019 as above by Alistair Houghton.

[3] After April 4th 2019 did Alistair Houghton, or Liam Thorp, inform your officers about the hotel and rooms still being rented out to members of the public and overseas football fans even after ITV Granada reports went out at 6 pm on 12th April.

[4] The building known as Block [A] or 50 Fox Street was still taking the online booking as from the 14th April 2019, the sales agents were L3 Living.
The booking was in the names of:

Liam Thorp - Executive Political Editor

Joe Thomas - Executive Crime Reporter

Alistair Houghton - Executive Business Editor

as from April 19th for a total of £789.00 over 11 nights.
When this was called into the Liverpool Echo newsroom, the female duty reporter could not find any of these reporters as they all left for the weekend, and she knew nothing about any hotel or where Fox Street was!

So when a call was made to Daniel Hughes PR, his company said 'Daniel Hughes PR no longer works with or for Fox Street Village, as they had run of money.

As for Cllr Joanne Calvert, she has made no comment about her involvement working with and for Hughes PR and Gary Howard MD Fox Street Village.

Yours faithfully,

Ms E Roberts L3
