Dear [email address],

The Fairfield Halls is the large arts centre building, 1950s-style, which sits exactly opposite Croydon Town Hall.

The building is owned by Croydon Council. Which is who you work for, I understand.

Croydon Council recently spent more than £70million on giving the place a lick of paint. It has been all over the news. Look it up.

Please treat this response as a request for an internal review, for your failure to respond within the statutory 20 days.

Yours sincerely,

S Downes

Dear S Downes,

Thank you for your request regarding an internal review for FOI 9066.
Unfortunately we are unable to process an internal review at this current
moment as a response to the FOI was not disclosed. A further clarification
email requesting the postcode was sent out to you on 26/01/2024, as we had
not received a response your request was withdrawn after 20 working days.

If you still wish to receive a response for this FOI please let us know ,
we can get the request reopened for you and a response sent out without
any further delay.

We look forward to hearing from you

Kind regards,
Information Co-ordiantor

Dear [email address],

You know I want a response to this request, because you have gone out of your way to avoid providing it.

It is not acceptable for the council to delay its response just because it claims not to know the post code of its own arts venue which is located directly opposite the council’s office buildings.

And I insist on you conducting an internal review, from the date originally requested, to allow me to log a formal complaint to the Information Commissioner.

Yours sincerely,

S Downes
