Dear Enquiries, Unit,

I would like to see what the EA are approving in terms of FPP as they are a new requirement. Any 5 would be useful but if they were from the Yorkshire region that would be great.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Kilmurray, Thomas R,

Thank you for your email. We do not wish to apply the FPP's to any of our sites as FPPs are site specific. We simply wish to view other approved Fpps. If the site name and address is redacted then we do not see how they could be commercially sensitive. Please could we have copies of redacted versions, or at least, what Fire Prevention has been approved on a number of sites.

Yours sincerely,

Jessica Morgan

Kilmurray, Thomas R, Environment Agency

Dear Jessica,

Thank you for your email and apologies for the delay in replying to you.

As stated in my previous email, we would not be able to provide examples of FPPs because most of the information they contain is commercially sensitive and bespoke, designed specifically and exclusively for a site. There is no generic template and to provide examples could be considered misleading and an environmental risk if they were later applied to a totally different operating site. For example, an end of life vehicle site FPP would read very differently to an agricultural farm land site. Once this site specific and commercially sensitive data is redacted there is very little information left, and as such it would be nonsensical to release.

To give you as much help as much as possible, we suggest that one of our FPP specialists calls you to discuss this further. This will give us a better understanding of what information you would like and how you can make your request more specific. We can also answer any questions you may have. Please can you provide a phone number that we can call you on? I will then pass this to our FPP specialists to arrange a call with you.

Kind regards

Dear Environment Agency,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Environment Agency's handling of my FOI request 'Fire Prevention Plans'.

I am asking to view the agreed fire prevention measures for other sites within our Region in order to provide a comparison and to check level playing fields are being adhered to. I do not require any confidential information and do not wish to use the information for our own use.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...

Yours faithfully,

Jessica Morgan
