Collections enquiry service
The collections enquiry service [4][email address] operates on
Mondays and Thursdays only. Emails and letters will be answered on those
days, in the order they were received, within 20 working days. Enquiries
made by phone or in person are only possible on Mondays and Thursdays,
when a Curator is on duty. The service does not operate at weekends or on
Bank holidays.

Donations to the collection
Any item proposed for donation to the Museum, or offered for sale, is
subject to a formal review process. A full description of the item
(including image, date, size, material and provenance) should be sent to

No item will be taken speculatively on the day.
Valuations
The Museum cannot undertake valuations of items. For this we recommend
that you consult a commercial auctioneer or dealer.

37 CO2 extinguishers, 11 water extinguishers, 26 foam extinguishers and 1
fire blanket. A total of 75.
2. Who services your fire extinguishers?
The service is sub contracted through REEDME.
3. When is your contract for servicing due for renewal?
September 2019.
4. When are they next due a service?
May 2019.
5. What is the name and contact details for the person responsible
for the contract renewal
The London Transport Museum will be joining the current contracted Fire
bundle through TfL in future and therefore there will be no contract
renewal.
