Fire control call priorities

The request was successful.

Dear Surrey County Council,

Please can you advise if the joint Surrey and West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service control room use a call grading policy?

If so can you please provide full details of that policy.

IE a persons reported fire might be graded as a ‘life risk’ call and be giving a grading of 1 within your command and control system and a bin alight might be give a grade 4 etc.

Yours faithfully,

Tim Maidstone

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service do not use a grading system apart from
'critical and non-critical' incidents.  Appliances would be re-directed to
a life risk call and this decision would be made by the Officer in Charge
at the time of call.
