Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from you for the time period 2007 to 2017:

1) How many fire checks have been undertaken at schools in the area covered by your fire department for each of the years mentioned?

2) For each year, I would ask for the number of enforcement notices issued to schools who failed the fire checks undertaken.

Please provide the information in the form an Excel Documents

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.

If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.

Decision

The information you have requested is held by the Devon & Somerset Fire &
Rescue Service (DSFRS).

 

Please find below the detail of the information you have requested along

Request

Please find attached a spreadsheet containing the following two tabs:

 

1.   Tab 1. FSA and FSC. This tab shows the number of Fire Safety Audit
(FSA) Jobs and the number of Fire Safety Check (FSC) Jobs for which the
completion date on CFRMIS is in the range 01 January 2007 to 31 December
2017 and for which the entry in the ‘Premises Use Classification’ field on
the associated premises record is CE (Commercial, Education) OR CE03
(Commercial, Education, Primary School) OR CE04 (Commercial, Education,
Secondary School).

 

2.   Tab 2. Enforcement Notices. This tab shows the number of Enforcement
Notices for which the Notice Served Date on CFRMIS is in the range 01
January 2007 to 31 December 2017 and for which the entry in the ‘Premises
Use Classification’ field on the associated premises record is CE
(Commercial, Education) OR CE03 (Commercial, Education, Primary School) OR
CE04 (Commercial, Education, Secondary School).

 

Review

You have the right to ask us to review this decision.  If you wish to do
this please set out your grounds for review in writing and send them to
the Information Officer at the Service Headquarters address or e-mail

Appeals

If you are still dissatisfied after a Service review you have the right to
