Michael Traill

Dear Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service,

It is reported in the media that Mersyside Fire and Rescue Service are making two specially adapted motorbikes availabe for operational use.

In relation to these motorbikes I would like to know what costs have been incurred by the Fire Service so far and what further costs it expects to incur over the lifetime of the project.

I would also be grateful to recieve copies of any internal/external documents held by the fire service in relation to these motorbikes including meeting minutes, reports, training materials, newsletters etc etc;

Yours faithfully,

Michael Traill

Dear Freedom of Information Team,

Can I just clarify what I meant by 'operational use' in my request for information.

By 'operational use' I mean available for use for either front line response duties or back room functions such as media photo calls, fire safety advice, community relations work etc etc;

Yours sincerely,

Michael Traill
