Dear Transport for London,

Can you please provide a summary of the current situations regarding:

Also, status of project to provide lifts to National Rail platforms with similar associated provision of new or reopened corridors. Finally, the removal of automatic ticket gates on National Rail platforms once main station is fully gated.

Dear Mr Dunning

Thank you for your email of 28 January about Finsbury Park and Highbury &
Islington stations.

The situation at Finsbury Park is that the plans we originally had for
this station had to be withdrawn due to funding issues. Sadly, other
projects we hoped to do have also had to be cancelled for the same reason.
This means that there are now no major changes planned for this station in
the foreseeable future. I am though making further enquiries about the
gating arrangements there and on receipt of any extra information I'll
gladly share this with you.

Please use the following link to see what we are doing in conjunction with
the London Borough of Islington to improve Highbury & Islington station
and the surrounding area:

I do hope you'll find this reply helpful and that you'll contact us again
if we can be of further assistance.

Kind regards

Dear Mr Dunning

I refer to my email of 7 February and in particular about ticket-gates at
Finsbury Park.

Just so you know we are actually looking to install new gates at this
station. There are some discussions still to take place so I cannot offer
any precise details at this stage. However, we do intend to install
some ticket-gates there, in due course.

Please contact us if you need any further help.

Kind regards

Dear Mr Dunning

I refer to recent emails about the installation of ticket gates at
Finsbury Park and I can now advise that some work is planned in this
regard by the end of this year.

I'm advised that we will be putting in gates by the Seven Sisters
and Station Place entrances. Further discussions are taking place about
other parts of this station.

Please contact us again if you need any further help.

Kind regards
