On behalf of the Bursar, please see his response to your FOI dated 25^th
November as below:

The applicant has not included a time frame for their request; therefore
the one used here has been from 1 October 2020 to the date of their
request, namely 25 November 2020. The information in the form requested is
likely to lead to inappropriate identification – and therefore impingement
on the privacy – of individuals involved; however, instead of withholding
that information, it has been aggregated as below.

There have been 32 suspended or part-suspended fines.

There have been 63 fines levied; these figures include both suspended and
part-suspended fines: 17 @ £10 (suspended); 12 @ £20 (levied); and 19 @
£30 (levied); 15 @ £20 (suspended & part suspended).

There have been 2 warning letters issued.

43 of these fines (suspended and levied) relate to 4 events where the
flouting of College and National rules was egregious. Otherwise, in most
cases, the fines have been levied on those responsible
organising/arranging/hosting events; the correct management of events is
required as under normal circumstances.

No fines have been issued for a single infringement of a COVID-19
regulation; these include exceeding household sizes, lack of social
distancing, and failure to wear a mask.

Where fines have been levied, there have been two or more infringements of
College and COVID rules involved. These include (but are not limited to)
exceeding household sizes; lack of social distancing; failure to wear a
mask; the involvement of the police; failure to book a room for a formal
event; multiple visits of College staff to deal with the same problem;
hiding in bathrooms on the appearance of the porter; attending group
events while self-isolating, both with and without COVID; and bringing
outsiders into College.
