Dear Queen’s University Belfast,

I would like to request, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, information relating to the income received and any fines charged by Queen’s University Belfast’s on-campus accommodation to students residing there.

Please provide the following:

-The total rental income from students living in on-campus accommodation for academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13?
-The number of students living on-campus for academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13?
-The number of disciplinary actions taken against students resulting in a fine and/or expulsion for academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 and:
(a)The reasons for such action being taken
(b)The results of any appeals
-A breakdown of all fines levied against students living in on-campus accommodation under the management of Queen’s University Belfast.
-Details of all revenue from fines and their associated offences for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.
-The amount of money which is currently owed in disciplinary fines?
-Amount of students living on campus that did not incur any charges for academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13?
-The maximum total singular fine that was incurred by any student for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13?
-The average total student fine incurred for academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13?
-A breakdown of where exactly the money the university makes from disciplinary fines and/or any other on-campus accommodation fines is spent on.
