Dear Mr Wilding

Thank you for your correspondence on 24 April 2018 where you requested an Internal Review following your request for information about 16096.

Your concerns were:

"Thanks for this information on the fire inspection procedures in Suffolk. Please could you provide the number of inspections that have been conducted and their outcomes (e.g. compliant, action plan, enforcement notice, etc)?”

Having now conducted a formal review of your request, I can confirm that our response to your request (ref 16096) is partially upheld.

Upon reviewing the information Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services have identified that it would take them over the reasonable cost limit allowed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to identify the information requested and therefore have applied exemption s.12. Full details of this exemption can be found in the attached document.

Accordingly, I believe that the Council partially met the requirements of the legislation in response to your request and offer our apologies.  Please find attached the revised response.

Of necessity this response has to include reference to legislation. If anything is unclear please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Kind Regards

Becky
