Financial Transparency - Spending over £500

G Nelson made this Freedom of Information request to Nottingham City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Nottingham City Council,

Please provide in CSV format details of all Nottingham City
Council spending over £500 by financial year for the period between April 2009 to date.

The format should be in line with the guidance provided by DCLG at
http://lgtransparency.readandcomment.com/
or
http://data.gov.uk/blog/local-spending-d...
(data.gov.uk/blog/local-spending-data-guidance)

The data should be obtained from either live or backup systems and should be easily available as you would have to hold such information for 6 years. In light of developments you must be undertaking to comply with the directive from DCLG on publishing data this should be relatively simple for you to provide at minimum cost.

I am quite happy to receive either individual files per year or one file with a separate tab for each year.

If this data is available on your website or other websites then please advise where this is as I have been unable to find it.

Yours faithfully

G Nelson

Is there any news on this? The deadline for NCC to respond with the internal review outcome was 5 April. I like many transparency advocates are watching keenly to see how NCC responds to attempts to tackle its refusal to comply with the national £500+ spending publication guideline for councils. (NCC is now the only council in England refusing to publish this information.)
