Dear Charity Commission for England and Wales,
I am writing to you to see if it is possible to acquire some information regarding Royal institute of British architects. recent news has worried me over their financial management and what my money as a soon to be member will be spent on. In this context it would be interesting to see their spending for last year.
I know charities are not subject to FOI but thought I may take a chance with yourselves

for information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act
You have asked the Commission:
"I am writing to you to see if it is possible to acquire some information
regarding Royal institute of British architects. recent news has worried
me over their financial management and what my money as a soon to be
member will be spent on. In this context it would be interesting to see
their spending for last year"
I can confirm that your request has been dealt with in accordance with
FOIA. Further to this I can confirm that having search our records we do
not hold the information requested.
It may be helpful if I explain that charities have 10 months from the end
of their financial year in which to submit their accounts to the
Commission providing the charity's income is £25,000 or more.
The charity The Royal British Institute of Architects has a financial year
end of 31 December, therefore the accounts for their last complete
financial year, if required, do not have to be submitted until 31 October
If the charity is required to submit accounts for their last financial
year end, when the Commission is in receipt of them, they will be viewable
on the charity’s entry in the online register here
