Dear Mr Casey,

I can now confirm that Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority has
completed its search for the information you requested on 25 November
2011, about the service contract between Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue
Service and Buckinghamshire County Council.  Please find attached four
documents which are:

General conditions and services (annex F)

Firefighters pension scheme (annex B)

Provision of treasury management services (annex C)

Provision of computer systems services (annex D)

I have redacted the names of members of staff who are not principal
officers as this information is exempt under section 40(2) third party
personal data, specifically, access to information about public
authorities employees.  Whilst section 40(2) is a qualified exemption,
that is, it is subject to the public interest test which is set out in
section 2 of the Act, the redaction of the information does not reduce the
value of the information.

I have also redacted any information regarding costs as this is exempt
under section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, where release
of the information is likely to prejudice the commercial interests of any
person. (A person may be an individual, a company, the public authority
itself or any other legal entity.).  Section 43 is a qualified exemption,
that is, it is subject to the public interest test which is set out in
section 2 of the Act.  In this instance, the Authority is satisfied that
the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public
interest in disclosing it.

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me. Please
remember to quote the reference number 750 in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request an review of our decision,
you should write to our Complaints Officer, at the address below.

If you are not content with the outcome your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority. The
Information Commissioner can be contacted at: The Information
Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9
5AF.

Yours truly
