The Department for International Development (DFID) holds some information relevant to your request. However, this information is exempt from disclosure under Section 21 (1) (Information accessible to the applicant by other means) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as it is already accessible to you.

DFID did not provide funding to the corporation prior to 2014-15.

Hi Graham this is not directly related but you may find this of interest.

I am surprised that there have not been many private schools set up to get around rule 101. If I was a investor I would be setting some up for the very rich French.
